Reduced the real estate property tax rate from $1.65 to $1.55 per $100 of assessed value in 2014.

 

Voted against the water & sewer rate increase  (I was the only vote against the increase, click here)

Created and supported tax incentives for new businesses- SSI (govt contrator) and EMSI engineering firm moved their offices to the City

Fiscal Responsibility - The City has begun to pay it's debt while balancing the budget and improving the City's financial management processes.

Worked to get the City to get a parking garage at the Manassas Park VRE Station.

Worked to get improvements for Rt. 28. As a result Rt. 28 between Manassas and I-66 received $108.5 Million in funding from the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA).
